This article will show you how to add users to the system.

You will learn how to import a list of users to the system.

You will learn how to set up their extensions and user scopes.



What Do I Click?

Adding a user

Click the Users Icon → Click the blue Add User button → Enter the appropriate information to set up the new user → Click Add User at the bottom. 


Uploading a list of users


Click the Users Icon → Click the Import button → Click Download Template  Enter the appropriate information in the file → Click Browse → Select the correct file → Click Upload.


Items to enter and note for new users

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Extension: This cannot be changed once assigned.
  • Department
  • Email Address: More than one can be entered here. Work emails are the most appropriate.
  • User's Scope: You can only assign scopes below your position's scope.
  • Enable Voicemail: This will open their voicemail box upon creation.
  • Add Phone Extension: This will add the phone extension to the system as a usable line and not just a user placeholder. 
  • New/Confirm Password (optional): Minimum of 8 characters, minimum of 1 capital letter. The extension can not be part of the password.
    • The user can set this up after they receive their Welcome Email. 
  • Voicemail Pin (optional): Minimum of 4 characters.
    • The user can set this up after they receive their Welcome Email.
