This article will show you how to setup your Introductory Greetings

You will learn how to add and alter your Music on Hold.



Start strong, finish strong. 

Performers are always told that people always remember how well you started and how well you finish. They almost never remember how well or poorly you did in the middle. When a client calls and has to get put on hold, you want to make sure that it's as painless as possible for them. So how can we do that? With an assuring introductory greeting on the front end and some really upbeat hold tunes to keep them engaged in the moment. Use this to transition to the big finish which is where you come in and take their call, fulfilling their need. Check out how to setup your intro greeting and how to hold music below.

What Do I Click?

Uploading an introductory greeting

Click the Music on Hold icon → click the black Settings button → click the checkbox for Play Introductory Greeting → select the Upload radio tab → click browse to find the file → name the greeting → click Save.

Recording an introductory greeting

Click the Music on Hold icon → click the black Settings button → click the checkbox for Play Introductory Greeting → select the Record radio tab → enter the extension to be called for your recording → name the greeting → click Call. Note: the extension entered will be called and you’ll be prompted to record the greeting. Once complete, it will be saved to the system.

Adding Hold Music

Click the Music on Hold icon → click the blue Add Music button → click browse to find the file → click Open → enter the song name → click Upload. 

Note: Multiple songs can be uploaded and sorted from the Music on Hold interface. 

Editing Hold Music

Click the Music on Hold icon → select the Edit pencil icon → edit the song name → click Save.

Deleting Hold Music

Click the Music on Hold icon → select the red “X” icon on the song that you wish to remove.

Downloading Hold Music

Click the Music on Hold icon → select download icon → name the download file → click Save.
