What Do I Click?

Adding a conference line

Click the Conference Icon → Click the blue Add Conference button → Give the Line a name → Choose either Dedicated or Owned conference bridge → Assign it an extension number → Assign a direct phone number, if desired → Add leader/participant pins → Set the max and minimum number of participants Select conference all options → Click Save at the bottom. 


Finding participant data


Click the Conference Icon → Click the Reports icon on the conference line row → A window pops up with Date, time, duration, and number of participants. Click the participants number  This displays Member names (if recognized by the system, i.e. an agent), Number dialing in, Time, call type (inbound/outbound) and duration in the call. 


Conference Line Creation Settings

  • Conference Bridge Name:
  • Dedicated or Owned Conference Bridge
    • Dedicated Lines are more suited for company-wide use.
    • Owned Lines are more suited for individual use. 
  • Extension: This cannot be changed once assigned.
  • Direct Phone Number: You can assign a direct dial number to enter the conference line.
  • Leader Pin: You can assign a Leader pin to the line to designate the host caller.
  • Participant Pin: No one can enter the conference call without this pin, if assigned.
  • Max Participants: Use the slide bar to set from 1 to 99 users. Setting it to 0 will make it Unlimited. Please have a discussion with your VoIP service provider concerning bandwidth limitations when using a high number of participants.
  • Minimum Participants to Start: The conference call will not begin until this limit is met.
  • Checkbox Options:
    • Require a Leader to start.
    • Announce participant arrivals/departures.
      • If selected, you can prompt all participants for their name upon entering.
