This guide will show you the different ways to transfer a call.




Attended (Warm) Transfer

1. Press Transfer.

2. Dial the extension number 

3. Wait for that user's extension to ring.

4. When they answer, announce who you are transferring over to them.

5. Press Transfer or just hang up.


Blind (Cold) Transfer

Yealink Phones

While on the call:

1. Press transfer.

2. Dial the extension number

3. Press B. Transfer or Blind Transfer

Polycom Phones

While on the call: 

1. Press Transfer

2.Press the Blind soft key or from the on-screen menu

3. Dial the extension or press the associated BLF button for their name.


Directed Transfer to Voicemail

1. Press Transfer

2. Dial 03[extension] (i.e. 03111 if the extension is 111)

3. Press Transfer. This will bypass the user's phone without ringing.


Transfer to an External Number

1. Press Transfer.

2. Dial the 10-digit number.

3. Press Transfer again.
