Daniel Radcliffe (the star of the Harry Potter series) was once quoted as saying, "Any actor worth their salt wants to show as much versatility as they possibly can." When businesses are trying to build and retain their clientele, this quote can ring true as well. One way where that can be done is in a quick turnaround response when an inquiry has been made and in the avenue in which it came. The beauty of the contacts page is in its ability to allow you to start a chat and then switch over to a different option right from where you're working. And that's no magic trick!

What Do I Click?

Sending chats from the Contacts page

Click the Contacts icon → Chat tab → click New Conversation → search/navigate for the name of the Contact and click the chat icon on the far right and then confirm by clicking chat once more → type your message →press Enter to send. 

You will also be able to use emojis as well as attach images, audio files, and video files up to 5 Mb in size.

The recipient will receive a chat message on their interface as well as to the email address on file, notifying them that there are unread messages for them. 

Calling from the chat box

To start a phone call from this ChatSMS box, just click the phone icon next to the name and then answer the phone at your extension. The system will then connect you to the selected contact after you have answered your line.

 Video calling from the chat box

To start a video call from this ChatSMS box, just click the video camera icon next to the name(s). The system will then open a second screen with a Meeting space for you to start, join, or schedule a video call with the parties involved.

Starting a Group Chat

Click the Message icon → Chat tab → click New Conversation → search for the name of the Contacts and click when found → type your message →press Enter to send.
