This article will show you how to make an answering rule active on your personal extension.



Change can be sudden...

Life can change very rapidly and sometimes, you need to make changes on the fly without getting too involved in the details. When that moment comes, you can rest assured that you will have a plan in place for those sudden moments. 

To be able to choose new answering rules, you will need to set them up from the Answering Rules page. For more information on setting up an answering rule, see our solution article on Answering Rules here.

What Do I Click?

Choosing a different active rule

Click the Home Page icon navigate to the active answering rule drop-down box on the right side of the interface select the answering rule you to become active.

Selecting default will use the rules set in place by organization or SIP Provider. 

Please note: Any rule selected from the Active Rule drop-down will become active immediately.
