This article will show you how to adjust personal profile settings.

You will learn how to adjust your time zone.

You will learn how to toggle in/out of the directories.

Just the facts, ma'am

At the base level of the system, there are certain key pieces of information that make everything work together. You want to make sure your personal profile is setup correctly so that everything functions the way that you need it to. Whether it's making your system's security air tight or making sure information is getting to the right place, it's important to keep your profile up to date and functional. 

Adjusting Time Zone

Click your account name in the top-right corner of the screen → Click My Profile → Select your timezone from the Timezone drop-down menu.

Toggling in & out of the Directory & Audio Directory

Click your account name in the top-right corner of the screen → Click My Profile → Click the checkboxes next to Directory Options to add/remove yourself from the Directory List and/or the Announced Audio Directory.

Editing Caller ID information (area code only)

Click your account name in the top-right corner of the screen → Click My Profile → under Caller ID Information, you can alter the area code → then click Save. 

NOTE: The Caller ID and 911 Caller ID can only be altered by a Super User in your organization.

Account security

    A. Adding an e-mail address

    Click your account name in the top-right corner of the screen → Click My Profile → under Change Account Security, click the green “+” icon → enter an email address → enter your current password in the Current Password field → click Save. 

    B. Deleting an e-mail address

    Click your account name in the top-right corner of the screen → Click My Profile → under Change Account Security, just click the red “X” next to the email address → click Save.

    C. Changing your password

    Click your account name in the top-right corner of the screen → Click My Profile → under Change Account Security, enter a new password in the New Password field and confirm it in the box below it → then enter your current password in the Current Password field → click Save.

    D. Changing your Voicemail pin

    Click your account name in the top-right corner of the screen → Click My Profile → under Change Voicemail PIN → enter a PIN that is personal to you → click Save. 

Note: There is a 4 character minimum. 

Cyber Security Tip

For security purposes, avoid using common or easily guessed PINs and passwords. Try to avoid using any numerical sequences (123456789) or things that can be easily found on the internet. Choose something meaningful to you, for the sake of remembering it, but complex enough to make guessing hard. It is highly recommended to use more than the minimum number of characters. If you are using a password manager, most of them have password generators that can be used.
