This article will show you where to change your voicemail pin.

Safety is in our hearts...

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs describes safety and security as being the second need of a human being's ability to function outside of a survival mindset and into the motivation for growth. Beyond the basic need for food, water, and warmth, we want to feel safe. We put locks on our doors, alarms on our houses, fences around our yards, and passwords on our computers. We have the genetic makeup to keep what is ours and only allow those we know and trust into our inner circles. The news is prevalent with stories of hackers and data breaches around every corner and it seems information is the new currency. That's why we have to do our best to protect the information that is vital to your business. That's why even something as simple as a voicemail needs to have a voicemail pin...and a good one! Read on for tips on how to do just that.

What Do I Click?

Changing your pin number

Click your account name in the top-right corner of the screen → Click My Profile → under Change Voicemail PIN → enter a PIN that is personal to you. Click Save.

Note: There is a 4 character minimum.

Cyber Security Tip

For security purposes, avoid using common or easily guessed PINs, i.e. 0000, 1111, 1234, 4321, or your extension number. Try to avoid any numerical sequence (123456789) as well. Choose something meaningful to you, but not easily obvious. It is highly recommended to use more than the minimum numbers of character.
