This article will show you how to record your voicemail message on your extension's voicemail box. 

You will be able to upload a pre-recorded sound file of your voicemail message.

Don't you just love when you are calling a particular person at a business and you know for a fact that you have the right number and then you get their voicemail message, only to hear someone else's name, voice, and message? Do you feel the doubt and uncertainty creeping right in as you quickly contemplate whether you should leave this stranger your personal callback number? Do you want your callers feeling that way too? I'm sure you don't. What Do I Click?

Recording the message

Click the Messages Icon → Settings tab → under Greetings, click the Voicemail Greeting icon → Click the Record radio tab, → enter your extension number and enter a greeting name → Click Call.

The phone at your extension will ring and you will be prompted to record your voicemail greeting.

Uploading a pre-recorded message

To upload a pre-recorded greeting, click the Upload radio tab → Click Browse → Select the appropriate file and click Open → Give the greeting a name → Click Upload.

Using Text-To-Speech for your message

To use text-to-speech, Click the Messages icon → Settings tab → under Greetings, click the speaker icon next to Voicemail Greeting (manage). Click the text-to-speech radio tab → Select the Voice that you'd like to use → Type in the message in the field box. → Click Save. 

Note: Make sure to click Save at the bottom of the Settings Tab interface when complete.
